I (Sam) was introduced to MTG in high school where there was a small group of students who would regularly play and the school librarian would also run events for the students. Rune was introduced to MTG by his dad, and kept up his interest while studying at university and attending the local game store. Rune and I met at the Hall of Heroes for a magic event, and since then we built a strong friendship and rivalry. We both ended up working at The Game Center, with Rune being the assistant store manager and main tournament organiser. We helped the Game Center grow in the TCG tournament space, and our efforts led to the store being the first store in NSW to achieve WPN Premium status.
Although we have parted ways with the Game Center, our passion for the game still stands strong and we want to host amazing tournaments for the MTG community and share our passion with potential new players.
